MY ASPIRATIONS FOR THE FUTURE OF OUR TAIAO
I aspire for a holistic approach environmental restoration—not just planting trees or mitigating environmental risks, but ensuring that whenua, wai, and taiao are healed alongside the people and communities connected to them. A taiao that is thriving and future generations continue to inherit a healthier environment (for at least the next 20 generations = 500 years).
WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT OUR MAHI
That we weave in tikanga, matauranga Maaori, and purakau to our mahi and ensures that our efforts in taiao restoration is rooted in identity, history, and ancestral knowledge.
